This is a surprising discovery. Captain Crunch originally wanted to see this but it was ignored for other more favorite shows. But since most of the series that I’ve been watching are going on break, I took a chance on this one. I’m pretty glad that I did. It may be ending too but it would keep me animated for a while.
One of Captain Crunch’s sibs had to go to a job interview and asked us to drive her there. Nothing eventful just a cruise around the city during the day. I was particularly happy about it because I’ve been inside the house for a few days now and I have been feeling bored. Oh plus the AC in the car during the hottest part of the day is a welcome change too.
Such a happy day today. I’m like grinning from ear to ear the whole day. We have been TRYING to score the latest iPad for a good 2 weeks now and since the PH needs to wait for stocks coming in from SG, we have been frustrated and impatient and anxious on when our reservation from countless Apple stores would come through. And alas, it came! Captain Crunch and I went straight to the store to pick it up and like any proud owner/parent of this new baby, we scoured the mall for anti-scratch gears. I opted to get the A-frame type folios for it rather than get the smart covers because I don’t want to spend another three thousand pesos for gear to protect the back part. And since it’s a sunday, sunday ritual need not be about just talking amongst ourselves. Welcome to the brood, Chuck! =)
After Egyptian mythology, I switch to sci-fi. Family read this already and I wasn’t feeling the book. Now, I am trying to read it after all the hype went down and at this early in the book, I’m still not buying it. But I intend to finish it all the same. Maybe I haven’t gone far enough into the book to discover why it was hyped up then.
